The Reset Program
Post- Holiday 5-day Rejuvenation for Your Digestive System
From January 6-10, 2018
Soon the holidays will be done! The pleasures of celebrating and binging on food and drink will be done! Very soon another year is arriving. It is time to re-group and create new visions for your life. Whatever you envision, don’t forget your digestive system. Your digestive system works hard for you. It breaks down food and drinks all day, every day. All your life. It too needs a reset.
But why reset your digestive system?
Well, it needs a break to restore its power and energy. Unless you go on a fast, this is not going to happen on its own. Many people restore their digestive firepower by default when they are sick and they have no choice but fast or eat light. Simply put, eat this way for 5 days or 15 and you will definitely experience some weight loss, better sleep, and have a more balanced metabolism.
How to reset the digestive system?
To restore its power and balance, it needs fresh, clean food that is consumed on time. Fresh clean food that is easy to digest and that means your body can easily assimilate nutrients and eliminate waste with minimal effort. When your digestive fire is in good working condition, you aren’t sleepy after eating. You aren’t craving sweets and you eliminate at least once a day.
Do I have to be in the kitchen all day cooking for this program?
No. But you do need to prepare simple, delicious, easy-to-prepare foods at home.
Do I have to take days off to be on this program?
Not at all. You can do all your daily activities and still reset your digestive system. But we do recommend that you take a bit more time for rest, reflection and reconnection with yourself.
What is included in the Reset Program?
5 days of videos, audios from Vivica and Aparna. This includes yoga, guided meditation, breath work, and food videos. A beautiful ebook with recipes and instructions on what to do for the five days. It is yours to keep for years to come. You are also most welcome to go longer than five days if you wish. You will also be added to the private Facebook group so you can share photos, stories, and challenges each day.
We will also have a live video conference meeting the day before the Reset Program when we answer all your questions about the program and a meeting to re-cap on the last day. Don’t worry, if you miss it for any reason, we will send you the video recording.
How does it work?
Each day you will receive an email in the morning with links to video and audio files, plus other tips and tools that you may want to include in the five-day program.

Rest and spend time in Nature as much as you can.
Practice along with the yoga and breathwork videos once a day before meals, or twice a day if you prefer.
Is this a cleanse?
Yes and no. You will have a restricted diet for the five days like a cleanse. But the range of foods and recipes we share with you are a bit more expanded than a cleanse. You have the option of fasting during breakfast, but it is not necessary.
Why should you do the Reset Program?
While there a thousand New Year’s cleanses, our program is very different. Yes, we are dedicated to you eating super healthy foods for five days. But the Reset Program is also designed to re-ignite your digestive fire. Heavy eating, drinking, too much dairy, sugar and meat eating can dampen your fire. As students and practitioners of yoga and Ayurveda, we know that a balanced digestive fire is vital for great health and immunity. Plus right after the holidays, your body is truly craving this reset. It will thank you for less congestion, weight loss, good elimination, better metabolism and better moods and great energy.
How do you attend the online meeting for Reset prep and re-cap?
Once you register, you will be sent an email with the ebook with recipes and instructions as well as a link for Zoom video conferencing. On the day of the meetings, simply click on the link to join the meeting.
Who are the program leaders?
This program is led by Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselors, Aparna Khanolkar and Vivica Schwartz. Combined they share 35 years of experience in the healing arts. Aparna is a former Chopra Center chef and author of cookbooks. Vivica is an accomplished yoga teacher and creator of Viveka Essential Oils.
